It has been widely reported that 22 U. S. Veterans kill themselves each day. Each. Day. Wow. While that statistic may not be precise, it still indicates we have a LONG way to go in how we care for our Veterans.

Please share this video with any Veterans you know. There are always people who can help.

The Veterans Crisis Line is an amazing place staffed largely by Veterans who can HELP and who will certainly LISTEN.  Veterans Crisis Line: 800-273-8255... Press 1.

Tennessee Time

This original song from Katherine's #1 best-selling Campfire Sessions CD is a true love story and an ode to her home state of Tennessee.

A friend of Katherine's went home to Tennessee to care for her mother, and when she returned to her husband, he showed her his watch and told her, "I set my watch to Tennessee Time so that I would feel closer to you while you were away."  To listen to all the songs on Katherine's Campfire Sessions CD, click here.

In the Hamptons

Katherine wrote "In the Hamptons" about the quirky and magnificent corner of Long Island, New York, that she currently calls home.  It is best known as a playground to the rich and famous.  She wrote it on a hot August day a few days after a hurricane had blown by her town.  She was still without electricity and water and was out in her yard frying her last egg over a charcoal grill, feeling a bit punch and the absolute opposite of glamorous, and she got the giggles about how the outside world views The Hamptons as being so chic.  "Oo-la-la!" she laughed.  She wrote the song that night by candlelight.  You can download this song on Amazon and iTunes and stream it on most streaming services.
